Training

Viking is the 49 CFR and IATA training facility for HAZMAT shippers worldwide. We offer training off-site, as well as here at Viking. 

Proper training is a legal requirement. It has been determined by DOT and PHMSA that no person may offer or accept a hazardous material for transportation in commerce or transport a hazardous material in commerce unless that person is registered in conformance with the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 49, if applicable. 

Viking has the only training course that offers a hands-on experience, with on-site testing and packaging for your convenience.

We provide a systematic program of navigating through the 49 CFR and IATA to successfully ship hazardous material.  

We assist the student in reading the hazardous material table, shipping paper completion, marking and labeling of packages, placarding of trucks, emergency response information and safe handling of hazardous material.  We limit our class size so students, if they choose, can freely interact with the instructor regarding their own job-specific questions.

We conduct classes monthly in Tulsa, and can build a custom program for off-site training at your facility.
