Viking Packing Specialists has more than $5 million in annual sales, and we've built containers for a
wide range of clients, including the Centers for Disease Control, the Department of Defense, Carlos Santana, and Boeing.
Viking Packing Specialist is a manufacturer and distributor of ATA category I shipping containers, export and domestic wooden crates and all types of hazardous materials packaging. We are registered to the ISO-9000-2008 standard certificate #6002.
It all started 30 years ago, in June 1979, when Viking began as a crating company serving local manufacturers, mostly those in the oil business. Even then, we established a great reputation for getting the job done fast and done well.
After that, we branched into the aviation market by producing ATA plastic containers. At the request of those aviation customers, we became experts in U.S. DOT HazMat packaging, both manufacturing and testing approved packaging for legal shipment of dangerous goods domestically and internationally.
With our expertise in the HazMat regulations, we further increased our offerings by performing the required training and consultation for individuals and companies that need help getting in compliance with federal regulation.
