Viking History

Viking has been packaging customer products for 25 plus years. Originally an export crating company for manufacturers, primarily oilfield, Viking has diversified into computer packaging, UN performance packaging, UN testing, 7A radioactive testing, hazardous material 49CFR and IATA training and ATA CAT I SPEC 300 reusable containers.

Viking has taken an aggressive stance in safety and compliance in the airline industry. We are the only ISO 9001:2000 registered manufacturer of 4G, 4D, 4H2 UN containers, doing in house testing for customized customer requirements.

Viking is the only ATA CAT I SPEC 300 case manufacturer who provides customized same day manufacturing for A.O.G. requirements in the airline industry.

Viking's history is rich with tradition and pride. Started in June, 1979, Viking began as an export crater for the oil field industry. Through the years, Viking became larger and larger in the crating business and that led us into the ATA case and Hazardous fields. Just as Viking did in the crating industry, we quickly became a leader in these fields as well. Leading our way into ground breaking developments such as oxygen generator cases and radioactive packaging for the US Department of Energy.
